    Religion before two thousand years.

Itís believed that humans originated about 200,000 years ago in the Middle Paleolithic period in southern Africa. By 70,000 years ago, humans migrated out of Africa and began colonizing the entire planet. They spread to Eurasia and Oceania 40,000 years ago, and reached the Americas by 14,500 years ago.

Islam and Christianity have been around 2000 years. Humans before that did not beleive in Christ or Islam? What happened to those folks , did they go to hell for being Kafirs?

Before Christ, Moses' religion was there, before that Abraham, before that Noah's, and before that Adam's.
People are afraid of what they don't understand

The term kafir means to reject after knowing the truth. Actually people from the Jewish traditions and from other cultures had prophecies about the coming of Jesus (PBUH) and Muhammad (PBUH) so technically you are not right, people did believe in the prophets before the advent of the religions of those respective prophets.

However, being ignorant of the truth is not the same as being a rejector of it.

Lastly, it is not for us to say who goes to hell or heaven ... That is the right of God alone and to say either way is speculation. What we can say is that people will be judged by the intentions behind their actions and shirk (partnership with God) will have to be paid for ...

We do not restrict the vastness of God's Grace.

Also, like TLK stated ... We always had a prophet to guide us ... Adam (AS) being the first man and prophet of God ... If your belief is correct that man came 200, 000 years ago, then that will be when Adam (AS) came also, or else he could not be the first man.
      The Prophet(SAW) said:
"I am leaving you two things and you will never go astray as long as you cling to them -- they are the Book of Allah and my Sunnah." [Reported by Al- Haakim - Sahih].
