Dear Changez_like,

Islam was not brought by any Prophet but the religion established through ALL Prophets. Meaning Islam was established by Allah (swt) the Almighty Creator even before the creations of mankind, in fact Islam is practiced by His earlier creations, the Angels and Jinns before it was enjoined upon mankind.

Thus Islam (submission to Allah (swt) is the will of the Creator, that MUST be accepted and practiced yet is not compelled upon mankind on this planet as a trial .

People keep quoting following verse to say that only "Muslims" go to Heaven and rest into Hell.
[3:85]"whosoever follows other than Islam is a loser and his abode is hell-fire"

Ibrahim says: Indeed that is the TRUTH, which is what all scriptures will say and here we must understand that

Prophet Adam preached and practiced Islam
Prophet Nuh preached and practiced Islam
Prophet Ibrahim preached and practiced Islam
Prophet Musa preached and practiced Islam
Prophet Eesa preached and practiced Islam
Prophet Muhammad preached and practiced Islam

(Peace be upon them all)

hence all the followers of the above prophets who brought a book ( so to speak, as the guide for mankind) were preaching Islam and hence their followers were originally called Muslims

But today some of these people had altered their books as well as their names and ended up calling themselves Hindus, Jews and Christians.

Obviously they are not Muslims anymore hence they have taken the path to hell by altering the revealed teachings, in fact another book will not be revealed had the earlier book had been INTACT.

The term nowadays "Muslims" is used for one who believes in One God, Prophet Mohammed PBUH, Quran, Sunnah, 5 pillars defined in Quran etc. Right?

But Allah SWT said that Ibrahim (Abraham) PBUH was also a "Muslim", so why do we keep confusing ourselves by mingling the definitions?

Ibrahim says : This is why translations are dangerous, especially when the translators of the scriptures try to alter the names in order to give clarity to the readers .

You see, the Qur�an NEVER said, Prophet Musa (as)preached Judaism nor Prophet Eesa (as) preached Christianity. What the Qur�an will in essence reveal is, that those who followed Prophet Musa (as) ended up calling themselves Yahoodi ( because they followed the Prophet from Yhood) similarly the Followers of Prophet Eesa (as) were called Nasraani because they followed the Prophet from Nazareth . But all these prophets only taught Islam.

42: 13 The same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah--the which We have sent by inspiration to thee--and that which We enjoined on Abraham Moses and Jesus: Namely that ye should remain steadfast in Religion and make no divisions therein: to those who worship other things than Allah hard is the (way) to which thou callest them. Allah chooses to Himself those whom He pleases and guides to Himself those who turn (to Him)

Here because we have become accustomed to the fabricated terms like Judaism/Moses and Christianity/Jesus, the translators substitute these words in their translations.

As such even Muslims get confused at times when they solely rely on �ONE� English translations and have not read the Arabic originals .

Now it is true that all the followers of all the Prophets were called Muslims from the time of Prophet Ibrahim (as), yet when another book had to be revealed to another tribe in another language, the earlier book ( which got altered) misled its followers, as such they had gone astray completely, as such the subsequent followers of that altered earlier book are NO more Muslims and they themselves have chosen to call themselves as Hindus, Jews, Christians and their path is to hell is the essence of all scriptures.

Allah (swt) had seen to it that they renamed themselves and removed His Holy name from their presence.

We, the believer in Allah SWT, Quran, Prophet Mohammed PBUH are "also" Muslims. While who believes in Allah SWT's oneness, His scriptures (books), Angels is also a "Muslim".

Ibrahim says : I believe you are confusing yourself here � IF� by thinking that Jews and Christians ( meaning those following the current versions of books) are also Muslims.

5: 65 If only the people of the Book had believed and been righteous We should indeed have blotted out their iniquities and admitted them to gardens of Bliss.

66 If only they had stood fast by the Law the Gospel and all the revelation that was sent to them from their Lord they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. There is from among them a party on the right course; but many of them follow a course that is evil.

67 O Apostle! proclaim the (Message) which hath been sent to thee from thy Lord. If thou didst not thou wouldst not have fulfilled and proclaimed His mission: and Allah will defend thee from men (who mean mischief). For Allah guideth not those who reject faith.

68 Say: "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law the Gospel and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith.

70 We took the Covenant of the Children of Israel and sent them Apostles. Every time there came to them an apostle with what they themselves desired not some (of these) they called impostors and some they (go so far as to) slay.

71 They thought there would be no trial (or punishment); so they became blind and deaf: yet Allah (in mercy) turned to them: yet again many of them became blind and deaf. But Allah sees well all that they do.

72 They do blaspheme who say: "Allah is Christ the son of Mary." But said Christ: "O children of Israel! worship Allah my Lord and your Lord." Whoever joins other gods with Allah Allah will forbid him the garden and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help.

73 They do blaspheme who say: Allah is one of three in a Trinity: for there is no god except One Allah. If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy) verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them.

74 Why turn they not to Allah and seek His forgiveness? For Allah is Oft-forgiving Most Merciful.

75 Christ the son of Mary was no more than an Apostle; many were the Apostles that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth makes His Signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!

76 Say: Will ye worship besides Allah something which hath no power either to harm or benefit you? But Allah He it is that heareth and knoweth all things."

77 Say: "O people of the Book! exceed not in your religion the bounds (of what is proper) trespassing beyond the truth nor follow the vain desires of people who went wrong in times gone by who misled many and strayed (themselves) from the even way.

78 Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel who rejected faith by the tongue of David and of Jesus the son of Mary: because they disobeyed and persisted in excesses

Ibrahim says: thus According to revelations the Prophets themselves cursed those who went astray and the current Jews ad Christian have indeed gone astray and they will be rewarded for their good deeds and punished for their straying as Allah (swt) wills.

Brother Ibrahim, jazakullahu kharian for your input.

Thats almost what I want to say. Those Jews, Christians who are labelled as such but still believe in ONE God, His Books, Angels, Messengers are Muslims. We know that Judaism and Christianity are also divided into several sects (just like Muslims today) there must be some sect which believes in oneness of Allah SWT and falls in the category of 02:285, 02:62. So we should not say that ALL Jews and Christians etc will go to Hell.
