    Salat -ul- Hajaat.

Can anybody post references about why and when Salat-ul-Hajaat was prayed, and the correct procedure for it?

    Jazak'Allah.

CocoNut, is there also a prayer/dua for when you're attempting to do something good?(Other than saying Insha'llah)

After you've done something good, you can say this du'a of Ibrahim (a.s) and his son, as mentioned in the Qur'an :

Rabbanaa Taqabbal Minnaa. Innaka Antassamee'ul 'Aleem.

O our Lord, Accept it from Us. Verily, You are the All-Hearer, All-Knower.

I'll try to find the reference Insha Allah.
