I've read in sooo many books and come across so much literature about "the last part of the night" in regards to when Allah answers prayers supposedly, now I wonder What time is the last part of the night?

      Assalam-o-alikum...

the night time prayer is also called tahajjud, a very peaceful time . Worshipping Allah at this time is a act of pious ppl of Allah, because at this time evil is performing its sins. and takes a great deal of strength in beleif.

Tahajjud time ranged between 2-3 am in night, and as per my knoeledge is concerned Prophet Muahmmad(SAW) used to Do Qayyam at this time, a bow in front of ALLAH. Same was with many pious ppl of Allah.

Mostly Nawafils salat is offerd at this time.

P.S if this information is not enough, i can consult and get more information

May Allah guide us, and strength to follow ISLAM.

        Flamezz please consult

Keep in mind these questions when you do consult:

When is the last part of the night?
Why is the time only 2AM to 3 AM?

And as usual the source of your information

Dear CocoNut, as brother Akif has pointed out, the last part of the night refers to the last third of the night. This portion of time will obviously vary throughout the year, between summer and winter dependant upon daylight hours.

The Prophet - salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam - explained that Allaah -subhaan wa ta'aallaah - descends to the lowest Heaven in the last third of the night, so it is amongst the best times to perform acts of worship (e.g. Nawaafil prayers such as Qiyaam ul-Laiyl), engage in His remembrance and supplicate to Him. In another hadeeth al-Qudsee the Messenger - salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam - said that in the last third of the night Allaah descends to the lowest heaven and says to his worshipers to ask of Him what they wish from Him and He shall answer their supplications.

            regards,
            &peace
