    what my Hindu friend answered.....

My hindu classmate and I were talking ...actually picking on each other other. (friendly fire , we have never meant to offend each other) anyway, I asked him about the concept of many gods, and of them appearing in different forms, like cows, snakes and sometimes human beings.

and his answer was that their God has multiple personality disorder.....

On one other occassion I asked him why does he eat beef??? he said that " gao mata to India main hay, main to sirf american gay (cow) khata hoon.
So only indian cows are consider sacred or all cows??????

I know that was a joke, but a smart joke. I have many Indian friends and we get along well. They are nice people, I wonder what kind of people come in this forum. So different than the hindu and sikh friends I have.

dcotornaveed, what is the philosophy behind having just one god? if you can agree with the idea that there can be one, cant there be more than one?

AoA, according to my Hindu friend, there's basically one God Brahman. Rest are his different forms and that there's a little/some God or characteristics of Brahman in everything. Plus, they worship the same God Brahman in different forms...whatever the form they think is the best for their supplications.

Ibrahim says hindus consider it “ brilliance” for a hindu to spin their way out of anything and everything. ( does not matter who he/she slanders, mocks or lies about it that process) . Hence what you have noted is common practice for a hindu and other hindus will praise that person as having came up with a brilliant reply/idea.

In this manner, I have came across this same answer from other hindus too. Why you eat beef? He will tell you only Indian cows are sacred

Anyway this will tell you how idiotic a hindu can be.

Hindu sues after cow used in op

A Hindu woman has won £4,000 in damages after surgeons used "sacred" cow cartilage in her operation.

The educational administrator said she would have never consented to the operation if she had known doctors were going to use parts of the cow, which is sacred to her religion.
And she has fought a six year battle to get the out-of-court settlement.

The 34-year-old woman, who has not been named, said her doctors at Sunderland City Hospitals NHS Trust never told her about the use of the cattle in the operation.
                      Sacred cow

"I am not religious but as a Hindu the cow is sacred, and you are not supposed to do anything that will be seen to be sacrilegious to the animal.

"Inserting a part of a cow in your body would certainly be seen as that. It would be completely frowned upon."

She said that she had always been self conscious about a small lump on the bridge of her nose and the fact that it bent slightly.

                        Ibrahim,

i didnt see "how idiotic a hindu can be" from your cut and paste. however, i must express my condolences to the community to which you are an Imam. such cheap slander from a spiritual leader of islam, which claims to be a tolerant religion, is most deplorable.

is it any wonder that with foul-mouthed leaders like you, Islam has a bad name?

"kill the idolators wherever you find them"

tell me can you do that without violating
                          any law
                          .
so ibrahim relax . don take religen serioulsy

                          The Holy Quran clearly commands:

"So when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters, wherever you
find them" - Holy Quran: Chapter 9, Verse 5.

Can we, in accordance with the above verse, kill any idolater?

Another 'ayah' taken out of context by our dear friend rvikz here.

9:6 6. If one amongst the Pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah. and then escort him to where he can be secure. That is because they are men without knowledge.

The ayah clearly states, IF you are in war, you MUST stop all fighting for the holy months, however once the months are over, you fight those who fight YOU. We are NEVER told to go on a killing spree dear friend. And if the ones who fight you ask for peace, give it to them.
