    Forbidden food

Is it ok to eat food from burger king, wendeys, mcdonald etc...
because sometimes they use same oil for chicken and same for pork and same for fries.
Does using same oil for pork and chicken can make chicken haram too?

Im not sure, but I haeard that one of the preservatives used for french fries is pork fat. As for the same oil use, I should thingk it would.
Once I ordered a burger, and the crew member gaveme one with bacon strips in it. So I handed him back, and he just selectively picked out the strips and handed them back to me. I explained to him, that was not good enough.

      No, its not.
"Haram" (forbidden) food is forbidden under any circumstances. It is also not proper to eat "jhatka" after t reciting first kalma. Try your best, if there is no way out then its another issue. Allah maaf karney wala hey!

ramsys, so its ok to eat fries coocked in same oil as pork?
Most of the times oil for pork and fries is different. Pork is usually cooked not fried like chicken. But I would persoanlly think that if an oil has beed used for cooking pork, it is not permissible for us to eat anything coming out of that oil.

that mean we cannot enjoy eating in most food resturants...
How about "chick fila" and "KFC', they serve chicken only (no pork).
