    False Quran.

This is something I receieved today in my mails. I was shocked when I went to these web addresses that it mentions.

    Forwarded message starts here:
    False Quran

    As-Salaamu Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi WaBarakatuhu!

BE CAREFUL there are certain anti-Islam groups are trying to produce a new Quran!! Please read this e-mail and send it to all friends. Some enemies of Islam have established an on-line Quran Surah with addition of some self-written SURAH; examples can be seen on the web site on the
Internet (shown below). It's very dangerous for the Muslim world, especially for the
newly converted Muslims or the Muslims who don't know much about Islam and Quran; they might read all this FALSE and Bad material.
Kindly send this message (with the web sites
shown below) to inform as many persons as you can.

    1) One of the sites as an example of their Quran is:
    http://dialspace.dial.pipex.com/town...geq96/original

THOSE WHO READ THE QUR-AN AND UNDERSTAND THE
ARABIC LANGUAGE CAN EASILY MAKE OUT THE DIFFERENCE)

    2) There is another site that it is suspected to be launched by the Israelis; it is now under development:
    http://www.thequran.com

It links to another site which is equally
    dangerous:
    http://www.thespiritofislam.com

Please forward this e-mail to all Muslims you know, to be aware and be careful...

You see, one thing is, I can live with doubt and uncertainty and
not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing
than to have answers which might be wrong.
I don't feel frightened not knowing things, by being lost in a
mysterious universe without any purpose, which is the way it really is as far as I can tell. It doesn't frighten me.

We must be very careful in visiting sites for information. Sites that are not well-known must be avoided.

In another forum, there was reference to www.quran.com and www.submission.org. My litmus test proved both of them to be dicey.

I know it is difficult for a person to find out which sites are incorrect and must therefore go to known sites only.
