    Caring for other Muslims

"Al-Nu'man bin Bashir, may Allah be pleased with him, reported:
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: The similitude of
believers in regard to mutual love, affection, fellow-feeling is that
of one body; when any limb of it aches, the whole body aches, because
    of sleeplessness and fever"
    [Bukhari-Muslim]

"Abu Musa, may Allah be pleased with him, reported: Allah's Messenger
(may peace be upon him) said: A believer is like a brick for another
believer, the one supporting the other " [HR Bukhari-Muslim]

"I put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving creature, but He has a grasp of its forelock. Verily, my Lord is on the straight path. (The truth)"

SubhanAllah! If only all Muslims understood this. Politics in Arabic is 'Siyasa' which means 'to look after' so how can any Muslim stop political discussion inside the mosques. I'm not saying taking part in the kufr system but to understand how the Islamic state cares for each individual as an individual and not a number.

I think that all too often we forget that we should care for ALL other human beings, not just other muslims. The things that stands in the way of caring for all other human beings is that same one that stands in the way of our caring for other muslims- lack of human kindness.

          Shirin,

          Valid point.

Umar Farooq(R.A.) used to worry even if a dog went hungry for one night.

Kindness is always present. It's just that the system doesn't promote it.
