    Pakistani doctors wins Award

    Some stories do deserve mention


    ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan doctor, Dr Irfan Hassan Irfan Hassan was nominated for the “dedicated doctor award” by his colleagues Omagh, Northern Ireland.

    Judge Dr Peter Colvin, Chairman of the RCGP’s Northern Irish Committee, describes Dr Hassan as “a truly exceptional general practioner,” while selecting him for the award.

    Dr Irfan was on the scene when his hometown of Omagh was torn apart by a terrorist bomb in 1998. His efforts to assist the victims did not stop in the immediate aftermath, he gave unstinting support to the injured and the relatives of the deceased.

    Capt. Dr., who say his empathy for patients goes beyond the surgery door and has led him to champion the cause of the chronically by Dr. Hassan has brought significant improvements in care and patient satisfaction.

    As an LMC and GP (NI) member, Dr. Hassan has fought to retain local acute and maternity facilities, and as a medical teacher for more than 20 years he has trained undergraduates and GP registrars, as well as pioneering audit in general practice.
    How can a man die better than facing fearful odds for the ashes of his fathers and the Temple of his Gods?

              just caus some guys name is in the news is supposed to mean they did something good? Or they deserve credit for something? People all around the world do great stuff. Many of them dont get their name in the paper.

                You wouldnt smart ass. I am 21. So he got a bloody award. People get awards all the bloody time. There is more important stuff out there.
