Besides US politics doesnt work this way that Obama can win the mainstream presidential campaign on OBL's name.
the version that the U.S. Has come up with seems to be a fable at best. The version that they have thrown up is no different than the lies which the propagated for justifying Iraq war. The whole world believes only one version (the U.S. One) who can dare propagate an alternate version of the events surrounding matters like these?

When the operation took place some news came out that Pakistani intelligence officials has asked the people of the surrounding areas to stay indoors and the electricity was turned off. This was hushed up later...

The fact remains that obl was of no utility to anyone when he was killed. Pakistani army would have preferred to get his killing attributed to a drone strike. With the eventual unravelling of events the generals considered it prudent to take the blame of incompetence as compared to be a party to the alqaeda or the U.S.

I dont think that is true. If it had happened, independent media sources must have extracted this truth from the locality where operation was conducted. Also, you cant force people to not to spread this truth that they were told to stay at home in the time of operation.
If they wanted people stay inside they would have used some other tactics instead of coming in-front of people and delivering message directly.

It is quite true , These people remain active after this all and stopped every one to come close , so no civilian could come close .

Stopping people to come close to the site is one thing, asking people to stay inside is the other thing. But no independent source is found to verify that people of locality were forced to stay away or stay at home.

I read it in some newspapers the next day of the operation.

In 2006 Musharraf was at the helm of affairs, in 2010 it was kayani and pasha. I'd be interested to know about the guy who leaked the information. As per the news article he is now directly working for the CIA these days.

from 2011...the U.S. Choppers flew from tarbela in Pakistan and not from Afghanistan as we have been told.

this is correct. Remember the time of this attack and many interviews of locals. they mentioned it clearly. Even they were so afraid at that time to talk to media
