    First diplomatic blow to India.

This is what India has been resisting from day one. Slowly the message will get through, I am sure International community will not let India off the hook over and over again.

Australia says India cant say its problems with Pakistan are bilateral.

The United Nations has announced it will evacuate the families of its staff in Pakistan and India due to rising border tensions.

The Australian mission in New Delhi is also making plans to withdraw non-essential staff, along with other Western Governments.

Meanwhile, Australia says India can no longer insist that its problems with Pakistan are a purely bilateral issue.

The Defence Minister, Robert Hill, says India's past refusal of any outside role over the disputed territory of Kashmir must now give way to some international involvement.

Speaking at Asia Pacific Defence talks in Singapore, Senator Hill said the dimensions of the problem have changed because India and Pakistan are nuclear powers with missiles.

They can no longer be seen just in localised terms. They can have such major trans-national consequences that the international community as whole can't afford to look to others to fix them and I guess that's all part of globalisation.

Earlier this week, in unusually strong language, Mr. Bush called on the Pakistani president to prevent Muslim guerrillas from crossing into the Indian state of Kashmir, where thousands of Indians have been killed in a 13-year-old insurgency.

In his remarks this week, Mr. Bush suggested endorsement of the long-held Indian view of the Kashmir conflict: that the insurgency in India's only Muslim-majority state is not a homegrown uprising against Indian rule, but a guerrilla war orchestrated and controlled by the Pakistani government. Defusing the crisis, Mr. Bush suggested, is as simple as sealing the Pakistani border; he implied that General Musharraf could accomplish that with an order to his lieutenants.
    Abdali clutching at straws again.

    Hmmm.

Aussie "Defence Minister" vs. US President.

I'm sure you are glad to have Aussie on your side.

We'll settle for the most powerful man in the world on our side.

        Abdali,

        You make good jokes

        Mediating = Asking Both sides.

Can you see Bush asking India to do anything?

All we see is Bush spanking Pak publicly and berating Mush.

        Try again

Vajpayee should meet Musharraf in the coming summit. Since Dec 13, Vajo is acting like a Desi wife!

Why is he so afraid in talking with Musharraf?

So easy to handle the situation! Just need a Gupshup and transfer WANTED MEN WITH PROOF from one side to another and vice versa.

                    Wish I were a Leader!

                    LONG LIVE PAKISTAN

That's right. You go ahead and take solace in that fact. Europe and the rest of the world think he's a pig-ignoramus. Go ahead and also take solace in the fact that he is up for re-election in two years time. Indians better start to look around to see whose ars* is available for licking as this Bush will be a one-termer just like his daddy.

Talwar, the more you post, the more you reveal India's insecurity. India is a bit like a girl who shows herself off, then worries constantly about what people think about her. All your posts have done nothing other than highlight Indian insecurity and wishful thinking.
