DERA ISMAIL KHAN MAY 25 (PNS): Stage is set to test another ballistic missile with an increased range of 3500 km. to convey the message to Indian leadership that Pakistan had the capability to hit each and every Indian city with its nuclear warheads.

A group of scientists and army engineers/officers have already started gathering here in the town and have finalized the preliminary arrangements for a test fire, according to sources.

Launching pad has been prepared at a remote village near DI Khan, highly reliable sources disclosed and added that the vessel has also arrived at DSG Centre D. I. Khan during Monday night amid intense security.

"The vessel is Dr Abdul Qadir Labor tries' production having 3500 k.m. range and could hit each and every Indian city," sources elaborated.

The Local Circuit House where these scientists and army engineers are said to be staying has been declared as most restricted area and no one is allowed to enter these areas.

President General Pervez Musharraf, Deputy Chief of Army Staff, Joint Chief of Staff and other high ranking military officers would witness the test which is likely to be conducted on May 27 or 28.

Meanwhile, Pakistan on Friday informed New Delhi that it is going to conduct a series of short and medium range missile tests between May 25 and 28, official sources told Online.

It has also said that these steps were routine and not related to the current situation.

Earlier in the day an Online correspondent from Dera Ismail Kahn reported that preparations are completed to test ballistic missile with an increased range of 3500 k.m. It was also reported that a group of Pakistani scientists and army engineers have reached at this southern city of NWFP province and have finalized the preliminary arrangements for a test fire.

Launching pad has been prepared at a remote village of Mankera near Dera Ismail Khan in neighboring Punjab province across the Sindh River, highly reliable sources were quoted as saying.

They added that the vessel has also arrived at DSG Centre D. I. Khan amid intense security.

"The vessel is Dr. Abdul Qadir Laboratories' production having 3500 k.m. range and could hit each and every Indian city," sources elaborated.

India however has responded by saying "We are not impressed with these missile antics of Pakistan which is targeted at its domestic audience. Pakistan should rather concentrate on stopping cross-border terrorism and checking infiltration," the Times of India reported on Friday.
