Did anyone see Panorama on BBC1 ?

A most intresting presentation was shown on British tv, where they had an audience in New York and another audience in Islamabad. The audience in pakistan was divided along the lines of moderate and fundamentalist. The views of the muslim audience in pakistan was unified along the lines of :-
    America must provide evidence
    America is a global bully
American policies in Israel are hypocritical
No appology for the WTC bombing
America has directly and indirectly killed millions of muslims in Palastine, Iraq

Yes, and Richard Pearl (some american advisor) was furious and he termed everything what these moderate pakistanis said as "nonsense".

It was interesting to see that the Presiden musharraf's silent majority (moderates) were against the bombing in Afghanistan. In fact they said independent polls suggested 86% Pakistanis were against the bombing of Afghanistan.

Well think about it man, how many moderate muslims would be in favour of innocent muslims being murdered???

Musharraf's on a greasy pole here, he knows it the west knows it and Pakistani's know it. It could'nt have been planned better to destabalise a problem country. I smell a rat.

but the moderates did not say they were against the whole deal to begin with. Concerns yes, questions yes. You are making it sound like something it was not.

And did you see the American side.

To Richard Pearle the Pakistani people didn't matter, obviously it is only the land and air space they are interested in. He was also blaming the muslims for fighting back just because they are being slaughtered - his justification was that the Americans slaughtered the people in V..... but they did not turn into terrorists. Apparently it is ok for the Americans to kill anyone but no one is supposed to kill them back.

To the ordinary Americans in the studio, decades of killings in Palestine and Iraq was just a "foreign policy mistake". Well look what they are doing after somebody made a "mistake" in their country.

Moderate muslims in simple terms is a yes man. Somebody who agrees with your view and if they don't agree with you than no problem label them fanatic.

I saw Panorama and I was so sick at that so called Muslim who was defending America, is he still asleep or doesn’t he realise that this war is against Muslims & Islam without a shadow of a doubt what did that defence man from America say “opinion of the Pakistani people, who cares about their opinion, we would act even if the whole Muslim world was against us”.

See how the kufaar have united against Islam, and the Muslims continue to divide,
How do we now move forward in a position to defend Islam & I tell you it’s not by growing a beard or rolling up your trousers or perfecting ones soul although they may be recomended actions.

Those sorts of muslims are the only ones who are allowed to speak in the west - everybody else is a fanatic and a terrorist.
