Your question is IRRELAVENT rvikz !

For your info, Pakistan IS the GATEWAY between CHINA, The Central Asian States and the Middle East. IT WILL BECOME THE MOST IMPORTANT TRANSIT COUNTRY FOR TRADE IN ASIA. Once GWADAR port development has been completed MILLIONS of DOLLARS of TRADE will PASS through Pakistan.

What does that have to do with embarassment? Pakistan is geographically located in south asia. But at the same time, it is also linked directly to the arabian belt of nations...and it is also connected to the CAS. Now how Pakistan chooses to align itself depends on Pakistans relations with the countries involved. And well, indo-pak relations are no secret. Despite those, Pakistan is a member of SAARC. But dont see how that stops Pakistan from pursuing a union with the arab or CAS league.

Pakistan cradle of great civilisations: Youssoufi

TAXILA: Moroccan Prime Minister Abderrahmane Youssoufi on Tuesday said
Pakistan is a cradle of great civilisations and "I will urge my
countrymen and other people to take benefit of its great cultural
heritage." He made these remarks while talking to APP after visiting
the Taxila Museum. "I was pleased to see all these relics and
artefacts. It has proved that this country has seen world's brilliant
                    civilisations and cultures."

Youssoufi said he was greatly impressed by the beauty and splendour of
Pakistan's cultural heritage. "It is a big treasure for Pakistan as
well as for the entire humanity," he added. "I will urge my countrymen
as well as every person to visit this fantastic museum. It is really a
                    great historical heritage."

Earlier, the Moroccan premier went round different sections of the
archaeological museum, which reflects the cultural history and varied
achievements of the people of Taxila from the middle of fourth
millennium BC to the 6th century AD.

The dignitary was informed that from the vast collection of
antiquities recovered from the excavations at Taxila, over 7,000 rare
and preserved objects have been displayed in the museum. These objects
have been classified into Gandharan sculptures in stone, stucco and
terra-cotta, gold and silver jewellery, coins, inscriptions and
writing materials, domestic articles, house-hold vessels, toilet
articles, personal ornaments, pottery, tools and implements, war
                    weapons and miscellaneous objects.

Rvikz, Pakistan will always have its HISTORICAL ROOTS and this will never be forgotten. But at the same time Pakistan is NOW moving forward into the 21st Century and is on the ROAD to become a REGIONAL ECONOMIC POWER. The fact is Pakistan is in a STRATEGIC position , its trading links with CHINA and central asian states will create a HUGE market for trade. SAARC will still play a role (albeit a very small one) in Pakistans future Trade policy.

Kabir, The issue of OUR PAST IDENTITY IS NOT A FACTOR HERE, It does not matter wether we were Hindu, Sikh or other faith before we accepted ISLAM. Pakistan cannot allow India to try and stop its economic development. WE ARE ON THE ROAD TO BECOMING A REGIONAL ECONOMIC POWER (GATEWAY FOR CHINA - CENTRAL ASIA - MIDDLE EAST TRADE) sorry but India will play NO ROLE IN THIS TRADE.

Furthermore, India-Pak trade will only increase when their is a FULL SETTLEMENT in KASHMIR ie GREATER AZAD KASHMIR!
