EACH REAER IS WRONG BUT OFFICIAL FILE SPEAKS CORRECT

Pakistan may close 177 newspapers, headlines of a recent news item from Internews newS agency from Karachi. It says Sindh Information Department has found 177 publications not complying with legal formalities namely depositing with it the regularly printed copies of publication.

It is universally recognised no irregularity or crime can be committed unless someone insider is not collaborating or turning his eyes the other way for some obvious interest. According to law printing permissions of such dormant publications should long had been closed but for certain interests. For example there is one monthly Digest of Karachi which for the last more than 18 years is not being published monthly. Mid 80s it started coming once in 3 or 4 months which gap kept increasing and now it is coming once in 2 years. You ask for any bookstall vender or just a reader all over the country he would verify this but if you ask the concerned authority they will say “No, Digest is regularly published as our file proves this”.

I think in case of these 170 unfortunate publications “grease” has finished to keep the wheel rolling. National Accountability Bureau wants to clean up but it does not know how much dirt and in what depths it is which it can not even think of.

Well its good news that a problem of 28 years is being attended to within 32 years of takeover & initiatyion of Accountability beaureau.

Instead of wanting 100% irradicatin of grievenceses ,an impossible task,we should be happy that NOW atleast -roblems are being worked on no matter not fast enough but atleast faster than before yes "FASTER THAN BEFORE " shopuld be our yard stick & not absolute speed of lighteming or magic wand!
