    The US plan for the preservation of kufr in Pakistan

    The present government has embarked upon a series of political initiatives, which it characterises as reforms, some of which are devolution, widening of the electoral base, restructuring of the judiciary and the police force, and also what it has termed the accountability of defaulters and the prevention of corrupt politicians from electioneering. These measures have been undertaken with a view to return the country to civilian government through the implementation of Capitalist Democracy, a system that places authority for devising the laws of the entire society in the hands of a small assembly of legislators. In so doing, the government has clearly signalled its intention of preserving the law of kufr, instead of uprooting this and returning to the law of Allah.

    Ever since so-called independence, Pakistan has remained a subordinate state of the kafir colonialist powers first Britain and then America. Both these countries have, in fact, competed with one another to control the destiny of the country through various means: cultural, economic, military and political. But despite the clash in their interests, both Britain and the US are equally concerned to ensure the continued implementation of the Western Capitalist system and to keep Pakistan from turning to Islam. In the early years, it was easy for Britain to maintain control of Pakistan's affairs by exploiting the political, bureaucratic and military apparatus that it had painstakingly constructed during its lengthy colonial presence in combined India. However, British influence declined as America supplanted it in world affairs and succeeded in drawing Pakistan within its sphere of influence. Pakistan became a subordinate state to the US and has remained so for over four decades, thereby rendering great service to American regional and global interests. Nevertheless, US hold over Pakistan has remained uneasy and America has been repeatedly obliged to deviate from the Capitalist democratic model, instead inviting military rule in order to retain control of Pakistan's affairs. The reason for this unending turmoil in Pakistan's internal affairs is the original plan adopted by America to seize control of Pakistan's affairs. Instead of converting the old British elements to its cause, America ignored them and created new elements loyal to it, thereby opening the way for conflict between these new elements and the old elements that had been patronised by the British. So Pakistan's institutions and political medium remain in eternal conflict as differing factions fight for control over Pakistan's affairs. Therefore, the government's current initiatives of devolution, accountability, and depoliticisation of state institutions, first announced by General Pervaz Musharraf in his televised address of 17 October 1999, are in reality a continuation of the struggle of these differing factions and an attempt by America to pave the way for stable civilian government. Sometimes the US arranges for replacing one of her agents by another when the first has been exhausted The struggle in Pakistani politics over the decades has not been a struggle between Islam and kufr, but has been a struggle between various agents of the kuffar, competing to achieve total control over the implementation of kufr in the country.

    Unfortunately, what is witnessed in Pakistan, where politicians compete for their own interests only, is common to all Capitalist countries: in all these countries politics is known as a dirty business, especially in America, the leader of Capitalist countries, the Clinton era being particularly notorious for its political scandals. This corruption in politics is not because of the politicians alone but because of the nature of the Western Capitalist ideology itself, which throws man into a race to satisfy his material interests, a race that causes man to clash with man and country to clash with country. Western Capitalism does call for many high ideals such as Freedom and Democracy, but these ideals are in reality impractical and false and consequently they are manipulated by the practitioners of Capitalism only to serve their own ends. The reality of democracy, for example, is that Western Capitalism authorises a select assembly of men to decide laws for everyone else in the name of Sovereignty for Man. But there is no logical reason why these few hundred legislators will remain loyal to the millions who elected them. In fact, such an assembly is easily tempted or threatened to serve those other than the people because the members of these assemblies are only motivated for their own material interests. Consequently, small but powerful interest groups such as the multinationals, the homosexuals and the Jews are able to manipulate the entire system to their advantage through securing the loyalties of individual politicians. This is similar to what happens at the international level, where countries such as America and Britain manipulate the entire world to their advantage through both their open control of institutions such as the UN and the IMF and also their hidden control of agents and institutions in other countries.

    It is the nature of kufr that it will only bring misery to mankind, because kufr does not agree with human nature (fitra). Only Islam is both convincing to the mind and also in complete agreement with human nature, thereby bringing tranquillity to the heart. This is because Islam is designed by the Creator of man, Who knows man better than man knows himself. So how can the men who designed kufr ideologies seek to compete with Allah? In Islam, laws are taken from the divine sources, the Quran and the Sunnah of the Messenger (saw.) and what is indicated by them, the Ijma of Sahaba and the Qiyaas. These laws are fixed and not subject to manipulation by men. Islam obliges the Khaleefah to implement Islam and not to follow his own desires. And Islam obliges Muslims to account the Khaleefah according to Islam and not according to their own desires. And Islam motivates all Muslims to place worship of Allah above material interests, so that there is no opposition from their nafsiyya (disposition) to the implementation of the Islamic system. Therefore it is haram for Muslims to allow a few from amongst them to devise the laws for everyone else according to their own desires. And it is haram to support the election of those who will devise such laws. Allah says in Surah al-Nisa

    (But no, by the Lord, they can have no (real) Faith, until they make thee judge in all disputes between them, and find in their souls no resistance against Thy decisions, but accept them with the fullest conviction. )Allah (swt) says in Surah al-ahzab,

    It is not for the believer (male or female) that when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter that they should have any choice in their matter)

    As long as the Western Capitalist system continues to be implemented in Muslim lands, the door remains open for the kuffar to maintain control over our affairs. And as long as the kuffar retain control of world affairs, man will be in misery everywhere. Over the last five decades, the Muslim dream of Pakistan has turned from hope to disillusionment as the Muslims of Pakistan witness the cheap struggles between their politicians. The Muslims long for a new leadership that will be sincere to the Ummah and to the deen, but the reality is that these politicians have only been loyal to their own interests, and it is this that has exposed them to be controlled by kufr colonial powers. The salvation of the Muslim Ummah and of all mankind is in the re-establishment of the Khilafah State, which will implement Islam and carry the message of Islam to the entire world. The Khilafah State will not allow its political structures to be influenced by the powerful interest groups among the kuffar, indeed the Khilafah will reverse the current subordination of Muslims and make the kufr colonialist powers submit to the will of Allah.
