Indian IT Industry vs Pakistan IT

We should be realistic to IT Facts at least.
We are far behind India in this sector, but this is due to the fact that our rulers were having sweet sleep in 80s and 90s and of course our policy makers were too.

Dr. Atta ur Rehman is making his sincere and fruitfull efforts in this regard. I am sure we will be better placed sometimes after a year or so, but not better as Indian are.

Indians do all for their country, we do for ourselves despite we are muslim.

Anyway we must think positive and give hands to Dr. Atta ur Rehman and make IT industry grow in Paksitan.

By beating drums against India or Bill Gates will not work. Bill Gates did the right thing by investing in India.

Our Govt. should make efforts for his (Gates) investment in Pakistan.

This is good news. Although we have some very good IT talent in Pakistan, we have yet to be recognized for it.

Is there any way to follow up on this and see if the plan is being implemented or not?

Yes it is a good news. Our IT Professionals are doing great jobs in US, and other countries. We have to bring good projects for them and we have to pay them according to internation market.

This is good that IT is tax free.
Well I do agree that there should be a plan to monitor the IT activities.

There is PSEB working for this. But I think PSEB should be given more authorities and control, or IT board should be created with no sluggish people. It should be consisted of people like Dr. Atta ur Rehman.

This must be considered a plus point of present Gov that they have appointed a professional and sincere person for the promotion of science and technology. Although Benazir and Nawaz regimes also worked for IT development.
