    All praise for Bangladesh

    All praise to BD..

DHAKA, Nov 5 (AFP) - Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajed Friday announced a donation of 100,000 US dollars for the victims of the devastating cyclone in India's Orissa state, official media reported.

Further Bangladesh donations would be made after assessment of the needs of the Indian state ravaged by last week's devastating cyclone, the BSS news agency said.

Reports from India said the eastern coastal state was battling disease and starvation among millions of people. The official death toll from the cyclone is nearing 1,000 but private agencies say the final figure could touch the 10,000-mark.

Should Pakistan and Pakistanis have send money to India and Indians given the scale of tragedy in Orissa. Pakistan did not send a single dollar aid to Pakistan, though Musharraf did offer condolensces.

Pakistan was the first country to send it's Prime Minsiter to Albania to help Kosovo Muslims. Of course he made a boo of himself talking about Kashmir with Kosovo refugees.

Pakistanis in US generated funds to help Kosovo Muslims. Looks like Pakistanis definitely feel more closer to the Muslim world than Indian subcontinent.

We are not sure how India would have reacted if such a calamity struck Pakistan.

Why should/would Pakistan and Pakistanis donate money to help Indian cyclone victims. They would rather donate to Lashkar-e-Taiba to kill Indians and it's army.

This is a wonderful gesture by the People of Bangladesh. Although the amount may seem like pocket-change to a few, but it is the idea behind showing concern. I was most touched when people of a village of Rwanda collected money in their war torn nation to send to the People of Missouri that were affected by recent floods in Mississippi River. The Rwandans only sent a few hundred dollars. It is the thought that counts. I think Pakistan should help as much as it can to the victims of the cyclone in Orissa.
