    Indians of the Century: Vote now, or wait a hundred years

    Who are the Indians who guided the destiny of India during the century that has come to a close? Who contributed the vision, ideas, methods of action and the energy to free India from colonial rule, to lay the foundations of the newly independent nation, to lend substance to our cultural identity, to create wealth? Who, in other words, are the hundred Indians who made a difference to our lives? The Times of India solicits your participation in the Indians of the Century poll.

    The poll is divided into four categories:
    Leaders and Politicians; Creators of Wealth;

          Queer
          Agha Khan III was like Sir Syed Ahmed Khan pro-education, he raised +/- three million for the Aligarh Muslim University. This makes him an important member if the Alighar movement.
