10,000 Indian soldiers killed in Kargil conflict: Indian sepoy Bajinder Singh

ISLAMABAD, Sept 4 (APP): Sepoy Bajinder Singh, the Indian soldier who was recently captured by Pakistan army in an abortive Indian attack on Pakistani position along the Line of Control (LoC), has said New Delhi had lost about 10,000 soldiers in Kargil crisis. "They (Indian authorities) are telling lie that only 400 soldiers were killed in Kargil, they are hiding the actual causalities to avoid wrath of the Indian nation," he said in a statement.

He said scores of Indian soldiers were injured in the Kargil conflict. He said the hospitals in India were overflowing with the wounded. Bajinder Singh said India army's top brass has been forcing junior soldiers to fight in held Kashmir and at LoC. The Indian Sepoy said the soldiers posted at LoC were living in a very miserable condition. "They are not given proper food and other facilities." Lance Naik Ram Singh in his statement praised Pakistan army for displaying courage and bravery in the Kargil standoff. "They fought like lions, we could not face them," he added.

He also blasted Indian leaders for, "their indifference towards the plight of the soldiers." "They are sitting in New Delhi and do not know about our problems, they are plunging us into a war, rendering scores of women widows."

ehsan, let us know a prisoner of war, or any prisoner whose statement is taken seriously. Statements of people caught by Karachi police would be an example.

The statements of Pakistani army used to be around 1000 casualties. Then one fine morning after pak announce that it will pull back its , they started claiming 1700 Indian casualties and now 10000.

I was merely pointing out what one of the of the Indian army was saying. It is probably true. Killing innocent children and raping women in Kashmir is one thing, facing freedom fighters is quite another.

8 h***** of paki army were returned two days ago. killing innocent kashmiri hindus in valley and make them refuigees is one thing and facing indian army is other. it was not difficult to get them say any damned thing u want. indians do not bother such pranks. no wonder 'The Times' from London has described pakis as 'govt. practiced is telling untruths.' we have our credibility and so not sink as low as u do.

It is a military plane, intruded indian teritory. Why the hell a plane should be sent on the border. after kargil, u can not trust the paki intentions. it was a survelience plane. rightly shot down.

Quoting the Times is no guarantee of abjectivity. One Kafir will always support another. Truly the hadiths have been proven correct in saying that unbelievers are helpers only to each other. ZZ is still trying to convince us that the BJP aren't a fanatical Hindu supremacist government, flying in the face of the facts presented by the whole world. Should we believe statements coming from a government which sanctioned and abetted the demolition of a place of worship? No wonder we get the well known perception of [this bit has been deleted] Choose your facts carefully.
