Why Should a Foreig TV Be Afraid of From Pakistani Authjorities

When Shahbaz Sharif was coming to Pakistan it came in newspapers that before his riding in the plane there will be a live TV interview by a private channel. Then news came alleging that Pakistan stopped this interview. Weekly Satribune.com in its 16 /5/2004 issue published a story headlined Musharraf Personally Threatened ARY to stop Shahbaz Interview. The story tells when interview was just to start the Channel interviewer Dr. Shahid Masood in London studio received a telephone message to stop interview as allegedly Mursharraf had already sent intelligence goons to the ARY Pakistan studios threatening to kidnap them and destroy everything. Though such things are not strange today world over as after 9/11 there is no principle, law, conscious but the might is dominant every where in every region. However it is not understand then why should had ARY be afraid of because it was a foreign channel, registered abroad and it has an overweighing edge being a foreign channel then why should had it be afraid of. The maximum if threat was true the Pakistan could had closed their TV and temporary hold its staff (no kidnapping possible) as in such a case world media would had cried and it would had given more popularity to this channel than Al-Jazira.

Sharif and BB families are now the "spent Kartoos". Anarchist SA tribune and the leftie loony Sehbai can shout at the top of their lungs. Who cares!

Shahbaz has a chance in Pakistan, only if he denounces "Raiwind Estate" and McDonalds investment by the cronies. He can be a great leader!

Nawaz should retire from politics and try opening steel mills in Gawadar and free schools in Sindh and Balochistan.

Abba Ji should be left in Saudi for doing daily Umra.

Last but not least, BB should open a shop in Bori Bazar and quit politics. We all have had it with leftie anarchist Bhutto cabal. Enough of this murdering and thieving clan.

Although ARY is a foreign based channel, the parent company ARY has many interests in pakistan and it would not be in their interest to go against the govt- certainly not for a has-been like SS & the Sharif family.
