    Toronto Film Festival Volunteer Opportunities

Might be interesting to some people here :

Toronto is honoured to host Toronto International Film Festival, one of the premier film exhibitions in the world. The success of this event is made possible through the dedication and professionalism of over 1,200 movie-loving volunteers. Volunteers hold a number of posts within the festival, including runners, theatre volunteers, data entry personnel, market research/surveyers, operations personnel, etc.

In addition to the opportunity to participate in a fun, prestigious event, TIFF volunteers are given a movie ticket voucher at the end of each volunteer shift to thank them for their time and effort.

Please note that the TIFF is known as the world's friendliest festival because of the professionalism of our volunteers in working with the talent and personalities that the festival draws. This is not an opportunity for aspiring actors or directors to present their portfolio to the festival guests, and this activity will not be tolerated. It is an opportunity for people interested in movies to enjoy participating in the festival, and meeting other Toronto-based movie-loving volunteers.

Interested in finding out more about our volunteer opportunities? Bring a copy of your resume and two referrences (with telephone contacts) to our volunteer information/sign-up sessions.
