Spacecraft Makes Historic First-Ever Asteroid Landing

Seems incredible doesn't the ability to land a craft on an asteroid 200 million miles away and still can't be confident in blowing up a target with a smart bomb a few hundred metres away.

No matter, this is a great breakthrough proving it can be done. For extended durations in space metals such at Titanium, Palladium and even Bauxite (Aluminium ore) are plentyful water! from these "filling stations" will greatly aid interplanetary travel.

Although I think it is long over due to attempt to stage a landing/mining craft to Deimos and Phobos orbiting Mars as these moons would almost certainly be mined for the raw materials eventually need to colonise.
