    A question

    i dont know if it is the right forum but i am in thought and trouble so thought i will asked.

    if someone is an IT consultant with heaps load of experience but there is a chance that someone could be made redundant because of the financial crisis then what other job opportunities can someone have?

    and can this someone have job oppurtunities in lahore ? what will the salary be like?

    i think this threads belongs to academics and career forum.

    and now coming back to the thread. IT consultant is a very wast term as IT field is itself. So please be specific.
    for example if someone is a software developer and lost his job can not get a job for hardware specialist.

    but still if i take IT consultant as a wast term and still try to think about other jobs then i believe in north america the only jobs u can get in tis kind economy is data entry in small firms or tech and sales person in big retailers.

    and for pakistan i dont think that he can get a good pay

      what type of work experience... specialization/qualification... industry... past employers... these factors need to be taken into account before anyone can give you an answer.

      There's no general answer. In IT, there are specific areas that are overly saturated while other areas that are still in high demand across the globe. It really depends on what the person is looking for.
