Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

    Tell us who you are?
I’m Mauhib Iqbal. I am a 14 year old boy. I’m a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist and I participate actively in community events. I currently teach students of programming at Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology on weekends. I am expert in developing softwares for .NET famework. Moreover, I am studying in O Levels (IX class) at BeaconHouse School System.

Tell us about your Record, how old are you?

I achieved MCTS at the age of 13 years, for which I am awarded with a Gold Medal by my school. Also, I am the youngest MCTS in .NET Framwork 4.0.

Tell us about your MCP history, when you gave the first exam?
I gave my first exam on 2nd October, 2010. I passed it with 984/1000 with the grace of God. At that time, I achieved my first Microsoft Certification.

Tell us about your School? What do your teachers think about you?
I study at BeaconHouse School in grade IX. The Beaconhouse group has over 195,000 fulltime students in nine countries and is possibly the largest school network of its kind in the world. My teachers are very much satisfied with me in studies, not only this but they encourage me to participate in various events of Microsoft.

What made you want to get into computer programming?
My father, Iqbal Khowaja is a computer engineer. I could type on the keyboard before I could write in my copy and I used to play with the trackball of the mouse in my childhood. Children of my age played games but I was always interested in how those games were created.

What do you do in order to keep up with latest tools and technologies while focusing on your education?
I try to manage both the tasks. I use computer in my free time. When exams come near then I focus more on studies. The technology has enhanced so much that we can be aware of the latest tools and technologies very easily using Webinars, Podcasts, Videos and RSS feeds. I also use latest tools and technologies to help my friends in their education, like I provide them solutions through Skype.

If you could do so, how would you plan your academic studies differently?
I have planned to become a computer engineer with a vision to serve the nation and youth of our age. I firmly believe that by using technology we can be better off in our studies, hence my goal is to take my academic studies as well as the computer studies together to go long way in my career.

Do you help other kids with their computer homework?
Yes, if somebody is facing a problem then I try my best to help them out. On Facebook, I have number of friends and most of the time they look towards me for the support and advise with regard to the computer studies. I use various tools to help them, like Skype, Facebook, Team Viewer and Twitter.

If you could ask Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates one question about Microsoft, what would it be?
Why don’t they promote young children like me? A boy who is my age can’t become an MVP. Many of Microsoft’s programs such as Bizspark and Catalyst are for adults only. Why Microsoft doesn’t hire people my age?
Which was the last non-technical book you read?
‘My family and other Animals’ was the last non-technical book I read.

You are also one of the Youngest User Group Leader, tell us about that?
I’m leading an influential User Group named Tech.NET User Group. I want to create awareness amongst young talented minds through technical trainings.

If there was one place you could travel to, right now, where would it be and why?
I would travel to United States because of high standard of education and better quality of life. I would stay there for some time, study and then serve the youth to excel them in their studies and life.

Who are your top 5 technical experts from your country?
Well, there are many technical experts in my country but some of them are:What are your future plans?
After I complete my studies, I will start my own company like Bill Gates.

What two or three accomplishments have given you the most satisfaction? Why?
I am in the IT field at a very young age and have already achieved MCTS. I am leading a user group and sharing my knowledge with the community.

Any Message you want to give to the readers of MicrosoftFeed?
If you can dream it then you can be it. Think big, do big. Knowledge should always be shared and not kept to our self so always share your knowledge.
