tell us exactly what is happening are you running a program or something when you get the screen or is it just sitting there and gives you the blue screen?

I used to get this error on my laptop as well .... but the parameters were different most of the times .... I couldn't really trace out the problem ... All I did was 'a clean install' and did not use the laptop image provided by vendor, did not install SP2 and downloaded the latest IBM drivers from the website. The problem never stopped from occuring, but the frequency has certainly gone down, Alhamdulillah.

Did it start happening after u installed SP2 for XP ? if yes then disable XP's builtin firewall & see if it happens again.
