    Software Application Ideas

    Salamz

    Just wanted to create a thread where probably we can share the ideas on some software applications and then maybe we can work in a team to develop those ideas.


    Please on serious ideas dont' want this to be a "softwares i dream about" thread..

    any ideas?

    How about developing an application that tells where and how many free parking spots are available in a parking lot on your cell phone screen.

      I have had this sort of application idea in my mind couple of times.. but the implementation of the application doesn't seem to make any sense to me.. it will be too costly for users to use it and for companies to afford it..

      just my opinion..

        I've always been aspiring for an advanced member forum .... where one can talk about hardening your O.S and using various programs to test the strength of your passwords, network etc ... pen-testing basically. But anything close to hacking sets off the alrms here

          well, it's not an idea. I am really crazy about flashcom, and flash development. Sometimes, it almost feels like a technical orgasm to be working with it. I know it just sounds too geeky.

          I am striving to become one of the lead providers of flash com based application development in Vancouver, especially in the areas of delivering Rich Internet Applications, video webcasting, corporate web based communication, and online learning and have dedicated past few months really developing some sophisticated apps such as SCORM based learning Objects, and simulated classroom. Now working on the content management system part, and from the next week onward, i will be on a marketing binge, to showcase my applications to online teachers, corporate trainers etc.

          The challenge is really to develop the hosting and application delivering infrastructure, and i just don't have the cash yet to get there. But, i will inshallah. If anyone needs to work on flash based projects, or you just need information, I would be more than glad to help and guide you to the right resources.

              Not to put specifics in it but to me the next killer app would be related to "VoIP" and/or "Mobile Computing".

              So something related could be programmed.
