    Designing Learning Objets..

I am working on the architecture of an e learning application. I have done quite a bit of research on it, but i still have many questions as how to design the flow of an individual object so it's engaging as well as it has elements such as learning, practice and assessment. As much as i am excited about it, I am still looking for a definite starting point to start to develop this application. If anyone has worked on e learning applications or has any similar experience, please share.

thanks gnu.. i and digitalsurgeon are working on a very similar application, but it's all based on PHP/MySQL. I am designing learning objects in flash, and went through some of the resources on the Macromedia site. It does have some good articles on defining and coding learning objects, and how a basic e learning application should be built so that it fulfills some of the basic requirements such as learning, practice and assessment. But, all the examples use the previous versions of flash, and I need to leverage on some of the new functionalities in MX 2004, but since it's still quite new, and there are not a whole lot of resources for it yet..
