    snoring

How do you tell if you snore? I can set up recording equipment around me but sadly i dont live alone anymore so i was wondering if theres a less embarassing way to find out.

And more importantly, how do you tell someone that you share the room with, that they snore. Without being rude ofcourse.

Ask the person you live with if you snore or not.

What's the use of telling them, I doubt there is anything that person can do about it (is there?).

        dont tell them

        bardaasht kerein

in my family almost everyone snores, dont know abt me

so i just learnt to live with it

infact its really reassuring when i wake up in the middle of the night and hear the snoring of everyone in the family...it gives me a happy and warm comfortable feeling

Fret, it might not sound that taboo but i still feel it is a sensitive issue. I once saw a commercial on TV about a nasal spray that eliminates snoring, but even suggesting that to someone sounds rude. Maybe its just lack of communication.

Funguy, i share my room, not my bed, with my brother. It bothers me because if for some reason i wake up in the middle of the night it is really hard to go back to sleep with a Honda Roadmaster revving up in your ears. By the way i sleep on the floor so i dont really have a bed.

Irem, bardaasht is important, but everyone has a limit of bardaasht. Having family around is indeed warm and comforting but being up all night makes it kinda hard to be up at 8 am :--)

Hopefully it wasn't a late night infomercial..........was it?

Dude, if it is getting to the point where you can't sleep at night, then maybe you shud confront your roomie about it. It is best if you tell ahead and be a little nice.

They would probably be uncomfortable to sleep in.
