Buy a bottle of lemon juice, granulated white sugar, honey, and some non-greasy mosturizers.

Depending on how much wax you want, pour in that much lemon juice into a sauce pan. Heat the lemon juice on low flame, stirring constantly. Slowly add the sugar tbspful by tbspful until it melts into the lemon jiuce, keep stirring and bring to a VERY slow boil. The more sugar u add, the syrup will become more caramelized. Depending on how thick or thin of a consistency you want in the wax, add more sugar to thicken or more juice to thin. The mixture will turn light to medium brown.. do not allow it to turn too dark brown or it will have burnt by then. Usually a two-three strand consistency works best for potting purposes, unless u intend to use the whole thing asap.

Switch off heat, let pan rest for a few secs then pour into a storage bartan/ lidded plastic dibba/etc.. After the mixture has slightly cooled, but is still warm to the touch, add a few teaspoonfuls of honey (three is max), stir. Then add a spoonful of moisturizing oil or cream - Johnshon's Baby Oil is good too, anything that is non-foamy.. aloe vera works well, stir once again, then use it or store it. It will keep for about two weeks.

i make it at home all the time..this my recipe :--)

here is how i make it.

1 big lemon or 2 small lemons (juice)
                4 big spoons of water
                8 big spoons of sugar

stirr them till it becomes thick..not too thick.. try to take a lil bit of it n see check if ur hair pulls out or not.. (be carefull it will be veryyyy hot). if it doesnt continue to stirr more for another five mins.
                usually takes max 10-15 mins..

use cotton cloth or jeans to make strips.

Shahreen, it's a natural skin softener and polisher; helps the epidermal layer recover after the hair is out.
