Well yes ofcourse there is a lot of difference, one feels like a diaper the other hurts. But I think most women use pads, either one if used properly is good, its just about preference.

i'm too afraid to insert the tampon....pads are ok with me -- and if it gets too irritating, use the thin ones.

plus, you have SO MUCH VARIETY with pads. You have all kinds for all kinds of occasions.

tough question. I use pads at the moment. i'm scared to use tampons at the moment. I don't want to find that i've used it incorrectly, and that i've got some kind of infection.

They say with a tampon you can break your hymen...duno how far that's true.

I'm just scared of putting it in and then not being able to take it out...seriously!

People how use it say that they usualy use it with a pant shield or a thin pad for obvious reasons...

That is not very likely to happen.

do not worry.... tampon would have more than enough room to come out

I don't really know how to use a tampon. I heard you're not supposed to? I don't really know. But mom always used pads, so thats what i do.

                            What exactly is a tampoon?

I know pads are cotton/cloth type material put in front, it acts just like a bangage to absorb bleeding. (Am I right?)

Tampoon? Anyone? Enlighten this poor guy.........
