    some thoughts

There are some experiences that one can only feel when one goes thru them.. during pregnancy of my wife (it was a risk pregnanacy) we experienced so many things which we had no knowledge at all... with advance medical research in USA one can take help from many sources.. complete bed rest and treatment that helped a lot during those difficult times..

We always discussed how a vast majority of Pakistani women - leaving aside rich and powerful ones have so little help during their pregnanacies.. I for instance never knew woman needed special care in first 3 months even during normal pregnancy plus all the vital nutrients for the care of woman and baby.. even in our houses the servant women who work are never given any help from anybody.. how is the lack of education and apathy in our society in this regard.. surely there must be NGO's working in this field but we can surely contribute by little help and care looking around us in Pakistan..

      Just some comments.
Very sad indeed, how these things can happen in any country specially those that are not medically advanced and dont have the financial means to provide state of the art medical care. Chirldren are the future of the world and should be considered so from the time of their conception.
Servant are to be treated as equals; In terms of food and rest and even treatment. So if a servant is pregnant or sick...it is only fair to give them the rest they need.

i hope everything went well for u guyz.

it is sad how very few ppl know about the risks that exist during the early stages of pregnancy. i know some families avoid going to doctors at all when they shud for their regular checkups.. thinking.. it happens to everyone whats the big deal.. what they dont realize that each case is different and the whole delivery process is one of the very risky one for the lives for both mother and the child.
