Boys are yuckie!

I didnt know where to post this.

I wanted to know why it is that as young children, girls will say boys are "yuckie" and boys will say the same about girls, but then later in life, everything changes. It even changes before puberty, so puberty isnt the reason for the change. What is the need for this abhorrance of the opposite gender at such a tender age, and then the dramatic change in feelings? Is it better for mankind that it happens this way? Is it the same in the animal kingdom?

Thinking out loud. Any thoughts?

i think when the boys/girls are young they just see each other as human but when they growup there thinking changes then they u know........

It's because of social reasons I think. Kids get embarrassed because they can see how grown-ups react when they get friendly with members of the opposite sex. I think it's more of a social thing.

armughal, have you ever watched Animal Planet on the Discovery channel? Man can learn a lot from animals, and already has. *smile*
