    How do you handle?

When out of nowhere something hits you inside and you become sad, lost or depressed for some time or just lose interest in everything for the moment?

Do you fight this feeling off?

or you stay in the mood till it withers with time?

or you feed this feeling by listening to songs or some other way?

I do all three above depending on the mood and situation or sometimes I just plainly ignore it. Its hard but I have done it few times now.

Yes, happens to the best of us. Currently going through it myself.

I'm not the best at coping with this, but whatever I do, I try not to feed this feeling.

    It's hard but I try:

Go on walks, even if you don't exercise, try to get some fresh air because staying inside within the same energy circle is draining.
Stay in the sun for at least half an hour.

More baths, to clear up energy.
Wear lighter colors instead of dark ones, to cheer up.
Aroma therapy and light fragrant candles
Try to clean up the excess clutter that sits there storing negative energy.
Durood helps clear my head a ton.

    Lastly,
Try to eat better [tempting to binge eat junk food but force healthier things down your throat because I'm a firm believer mind health=tummy health]. Eating better lowers stress levels.
Small changes such as adding ilaichi to my chai.

Ok I may not relate to this but OP, the first thing you need to do is not ignore it and share your feelings with someone you trust. Open up, let it go off your chest. May be, just may be you'll either find relief or some alternate solution while laying it all out.

I think Cashmere gave a nice list above so I guess whatever helps. Cheer up, life is too short to stay gloomy.

Precisely why I miss Muzna really. Everything just so happens to be very crystal clear whenever she's onto anything and everything

Apparently you even tend to miss the alphabet A she says sometimes

                    Play friends with Muzna, perhaps?

But if I were Sid I'd suggest to back off while you still can..

Thank you for your responses. Just to clarify, I was not really asking advise here. Just sharing how you guys handle it.

Cashmere Thank you for all the suggestions but honestly none of it comes to mind and it goes to auto mode but its a phase really which doesn't last long as the reality of life hits you like going to office, handling kids or house chores etc.

                        Sending prayers your way

I fall hard into it. Climbing out of it is a struggle so I wallow in it more than needed.
