    Lamb/Goat leg roast help needed...

We're planning on roasting lamb/goat leg this weekend on the BBQ with that rotating shaft installed above the grill for roasting. The plan is to marinate the leg night before and then roast it. Has anyone tried that before? Chicken is easy to cook so it comes out pretty well but I'm not too sure about lamb leg if it would come out tender and well cooked. Any tips, tricks etc? Thanks in advance.

Roasting the whole leg will be a waste. It's not as tasty as it is said to be. I would rather make a kaRRahi on the grill. It is that much fun. Get the leg cut into small pieces, soak 'em in sirka, namak and some spices... put 'em on a skewer, grill them and then separately fry lots of tomatos in oilve oil and add the meat from the skewers into this mixture. Let oil separate and you are done.

Roasting the leg is not waste. I just had it last week at someones house and it tasted great. They didn't use the bbq but they roasted it in the oven.

Merinate it after making cut over it and leave for over night.Use papaya paste to tender it easily.

It actually came out pretty good. Had to leave on the grill for some time too.

Would you care to share your recipe with us?.

How big was the leg? 4 to 5 lbs? how many did you roast?. How did you cut it?. How did you serve it?. Did you use any condiments with it?. What was the final color of the meat?. Aur gadhay aadmi, aisay moqay per photo bhi lay laytey hain (leg ki, apni nahee)
