    Is it dangerous?

Yesterday I was giving my FIL an insulin injection, after injecting him I accidentally poke my finger, He is nearly 80 and diabetic patient. Is it something I should worry about? I asked my friend she suggested that I should consult doctor anyway. what do u say?

diabetes is NOT contagious...it's NOT transmitted in that manner.
Life is NOT measured by the number of breaths we take but the moments that take our breath away!!!
16 breaths a minute, 23040 a day...NO one knows which one will be their LAST!

has he recently gotten a blood test done?as long as he doesnt have a transmissable disease, its safe.and as long as it wasnt a deep prick, its safe.

nope nothing to worry about ... you wont get diabetes just because you got pricked with the same needle ...
The Prophet Muhammad SAW reported that the Satan said to Allah: "I shall continue to lead Thy servants astray as long as their spirits are in their bodies." And Allah replied: "(Then) I shall continue to pardon them as long as they ask for My forgiveness." [Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 742]

Most probably it is not dangerous, but I remember some girls in my sisters class poked themselves on another class fellows needle. They were asked to go to the ER for some test (for instance hep)
