Re: Any one made a copy of this Suit?
I dont understand the hype of this dress as everyone is doing a replica but anyway I saw it at Roz collection today and found the price of 11000 Rs very reasonable.

Re: Any one made a copy of this Suit?
And Voila! Heres what we made for a client (and since it was customized, there were some major changes in the style of the outfit). The price charged for this outfit for the client was Rs.28000, but this was made as a smaller hemline than a standard A-line dress. It still has the six motifs on the bottom, and can be made as shown in the original photo in a paneled style without increasing the price. However having a banarsi slip made will be an extra Rs.1500. Instead of having a banarsi slip made, I would suggest a chiffon slip with a spray of sequins made instead as that will be less busy and more streamlined.
If anyone is offering this outfit in Rs.11000, you can rest assured thats not very high quality work because having this outfit made in zardosi, dabka, and kora would definitely cost the designer themselves a lot more than that, esp when so many pearls and crystals are involved. When a replica designer offers such a small price, always find out what sort of embroidery they're using, because many replica designers do resort to zari embroidery (silver or gold thread) and plastic stones instead of glass stones to bring the costs down. A dress like this can either be made in naqshi and kora like Catwalk has used on her outfit, or dabka and naqshi like mine to maintain the effect that the original outfit somewhat has-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
