Muslim players on the Indian team. I wonder if they play with 100% heart? hmmmmmmmmmmm.....I'm sure they do actually...but then do Indian Muslims really love India and can they be really totally loyal to India? its kinda a self contradictory oxy moronic highly ironic kinda situation....

Allah knows best what is right and wrong woh toh baat hi alag hae...par i always find myself wondering can they really love India 100% and have that anti-Pak feeling in their hearts that fuels the Indian players to perform at their best....?? that would be sad

Last world cup jab hua tha, the room I was watching the match in had mostly Indians. And when Azharuddin was playing, I heard some comments like yeh toh Pakistan ko jitwa de ga, he's on their side etc etc :halo: I felt hecka mad....eik toh he's putting himself on the spot and playing on the Indian side being Muslim and then them putting all these baseless blames on the poor guy....

I wonder what goes through the hearts of all these Indian Muslims who are on the Indian cricket team, not to mention the guy who was heading India's nuclear programme was Muslim..[if i remember correctly]..!!!

and ohhhhhhhhh...i'm on the mailing list for the indian association in my college lolz and the guy who sent the very first 'congrats to india brilliant performance etc etc' mail today to that list after india's victory is an Indian Muslim .....he in fact i know is also on our pakistani association's email list and is the only indian on our mailing list....he often comes to our events n stuff too...

hmmmm....one thing's for sure tho....Indian Muslims must be going through some major conflict of emotions in their hearts and minds I feel hecka sorry for them they are caught in a tough position

No its not Self contradictory oxymornon situation.You cant understand it because you have been fed with the information that Indian muslims dont like India.They love there contry and infect match agaisnt pak birngs best out of them.Just look how Zaheer and kaif played today.

Any educated (non-ignorant) person would know that not all indians are anti-pakistani....The way I see it it, I can love the country I was born in, I can love India and I can love Pakistan....all depends on how you were brought up, what you were taught and what inside your heart.

As for the one ummah crap, you wouldnt know that if it came to bite you from behind, I have read many of your posts and basically all i see is a very confused and ignorant lil kid.

My family has a lot of Indian muslims in it, because only about half of us came over to Pakistan.

My nearest blood relatives here in London are my dad's Indian first cousin and his family.... and they are 200% supporters of the Indian cricket team (and hence we're trying to avoid them after today's loss )

At the same time, they are 200% shameful of what India is doing in Kashmir. But this doesn't make them any less loyal to India... they just hope and pray that one day India will change its ways.

irem- i dun think they play on the basis of religion but for a fair and friendly game; [atleast, i will expect this from them] yet our hearts and minds put it as a battle, a jihad against right and wrong (IN A GAME?)... like one is playing for a right purpose and one is for the wrong purpose and intentions (as while in the battle, one is wrong and one is right! ) emotionally, yes the both sides of public feel the same... it is more important how the players themselves approach it...

Game is a Game is a Game is a Game.. and sportsmanship is something that is part of each and every legendary player...

irem....the fact is they hold their country dear, even though they get abused and discriminated.

Hum hi pagal hai....that we care for these India muslims....the fact is they dont even think of us as their brothers in Islam. During the Kargil War...the Imam of he Jamia Mosque Delhi...was praying for the Indias victory...hugging the presidents and the prime ministes.

Did'nt you see today...how Zaheer Khan, was swearing at Youhanna. Yeh kal ke chooze jinhein gaind phainkni bhi nahin aati thi..

They were absolutely no sportsmanship amongst the Indians...even when they had won...the way Dravid was shaking hands with the gloves on, and Tendulkars speech....

If only Razzaq had hung on to that catch...
