During discussions/arguments, why do we find it so necessary to stereotype and label people with tags without fully knowing what they believe in? Take religion as an example. A remotely religious stance in an argument gets you swiftly dubbed as a “maulana”. On the other hand, take a remotely anti-religious stance and you are called a “non-believer”.
Doesn’t this thing sort of kills any argument from developing in the first place? Why cant we talk to people without making these huge sets of assumptions about them?
