5 Dollar Eidi

Well, since my last attempt of a thread was hijacked (dont worry guys - its a fun hijacking), I am trying again. This time, its more sensitive.

Well, yesterday was eid and it was eidi time of course...and I usually get 50 or 25 bucks from everyone in the family...well...

my chaachi gave me 5 bucks...her husband works in pakistan, so she's not all that rich...


I looked at the 5 dollars and felt really bad all of a sudden. Here we all are - all the brothers' wives are giving me 50's and here she is with a 5 dollar bill.

Sometimes you forget the value of 5 dollars .

femme, she just came here recently to finish up some paperwork for her citizenship - her husband is a citizen but works in pakistan - he enjoys it more there.

But she might be here for a while if they decide to school their kid here.
