Gupshup’s obsession with Numbers

Incase you haven’t noticed there are counters all over gupshup. How many posts, how many replies, who replied how many times, who is scoring how much in Arcade, polls, results…etc Which is a good thing …I’d rather have ‘em than not to see them at all…

But the question is what do numbers mean to you? Do they have an impact on what you do here or in life in general?

To be honest, not a darn thing! You and I are from the era when gupshup has just started to function, and look at the number of our posts, over the period of last six years. It does not say a whole lot about our contributions to gupshup either, yet it has almost felt like a closed family over the past many years; so numbers do not mean a squat.

BoSS yaara, numbers mean a lot to people...particularly when prefixed or suffixed with Inches, Feet, Dollars, Lbs etc. Interestingly lack in one can be compensated by abundance in the others..e.g. Dollars can easily make up for few short inches or few access lbs.

I have a feeling all these numbers on ghupsup will be one day added up by Azkar Chaudhary and every member will be rated based on that.

I get some greater than one numbers with few zeros on 26th of every month. It helps me pay a lot of bills with a lot of numbers. I love big numbers. :love:

A Khan was listening to this song by a female singer "meiN jungle meiN akeli" in a cinema. She kept repeating the words now and then. Khan couldn't resist and said "khochaaaaa!!! meiN kidhar thee?" I don't know why it came to my mind all of a sudden.

BoSS, I disagree. Every woman on the guphsup I have asked the phone number of has declinged (impolitely) to give to me. If your thoery was correct that I shouldn't have problem getting their numbers.
