East Coast Get-Together

Everyone's having their guppie picnic because of Summer break.

How about all you East Coast (US) Guppies? .

Where is everyone and what would be the best place?

I'm in NC, so dc is better for me, but like Bharysh said we've tried so many times, ppl can't even decide on a place

I started a similar thread a couple of months back but sadly went on for a couple of days and then phusss
A. no one can decide on a date.
B. the place is a big issue too
C. My thread wasn't even given the proper respect of going for 6 - 7 pages !! Anyway for me any place and anytime is fine but that's when I am in the US which will be late August so aap sab ko aap ki get together Mubarak ho Maybe we can have a NY get together instead of East Coast or a DC get together. Anyway Happy Planning

u know how these things work ?? someone has to take the lead and hype up the event but afsos no one here wants to do that.. uptil now here is how its going :

dc : 1
nj : 1
ny : 2

i vote for nj too .. so i guess the the new ratings are :

dc : 1
nj : 2
ny : 2

u know if # of ppl stays the same then i think we can just conference call each other and have a talk or something cause that would work too ..

south of nj is not close to ny yaar.. its a good couple of hours drive so if more ppl are from south we can meet up at some middle point..

july 29th i'll be in atl city.. if anyone wants to join me and my friends for lunch, just gimme a buzz.

i'm sure there will be a program in dc for paki indep day.. somewhere near aug 14th. same deal as last time..if anyone wants to hang out b4 the show starts we can meet at the asian art museums (freer or sackler).. they have some pretty cool islamic artwork there.

Okay, we are not going to get anywhere if everyone says;

"You are all too far away, so you should come to me".

We should each expect to have to compromise somewhat, instead of expecting everyone else to come to us.

For my part, I'll go anywhere. Is anyone else willing to be flexible as well, or shall we just give up this idea?
