Some very troubling and confusing questions for Nia "khan" "Chaudary" :rolleyes:

Ok heres the deal Nia:

The other day on chat, you said you are "khan" and also a "punjabi" - HUH?

If you are a Khan then you cannot be a Punjabi and if you are a punjabi then you cannot be a Khan. There is no way that you are both at the same time, its just not possible.

Please explain.

Really?

If you can find Khans in America, why can't you find Khans in the Punjab? Hence, why is it impossible for a Khan to be Punjabi?

Is there a set rule in your bible that u can't be Punjabi if ur name has got Khan in it. I think it's pathetic to ask for such question. http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smilies/nook.gif

I have met Khan from Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, and have come across a website of a white american khan. You might be familiar with Chuka Khan and Ganges Khan. I am sure they were not Punjabi and nor Pathans. My best friend from Bangladesh is Khan.

ok here is the theory which i came up with

since the condition of being a punjabi is that one is born in punjab.

so takin the above statement in consideration if one is born in punjab then he/she is a punjabi --------> (1)

If one is born to a khan family he/she is entitled to being called a Khan ------->

since nia was born to a khan family she is a khan n as she was born in punjab so according to 1 she can be called a punjabi.

the solution is nia is a punjabi Khan

Watcher yaar! I'm a Khan too.
I was born here in Austria, so that would make me an Austrian.
But then my parents were born in Punjab, which would make me a Punjabi (And I'm still a Khan, ok?).
And my Dadiamma and Dadaabu were born in Delhi, which would make me an Indian.
Some 5 or 6 generations back I had relatives from Dhandaur (NWFP), which is near Kakool.

Now can you tell me, beeing a Khan, what am I?

An Austrian, a Punjabi, an Indian or a Pathan?

So what you are saying is Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan are from NWFP and speak Pushhto?
