To every one.Actually I've been in various forums but most of them were for US people so I was really bored.However I hope we'll have long term connection with each other.I mean every one.However Let me tell u people about me.My name is Asad Baig.I'm doing A--levels after completing my FSc.I'm planning to apply Inshallah at some Universities in US and ofcourse in Pakistan at LUMS & GIKI.I have a lot of information about universities in US,UK & canada so feel free to ask anything from admissions to rankings.I wish to see every Pakistani Munda & Kuri well educated and well groomed person.Well hope to hear quick responses.

Hi asad.. Y r u doing A's after ur Fsc.. didnt get good enough marks haan? so u r looking for easy way out i imagine..
neways.. NED, UET lhr, NUST rwp and Engineering Univ peshawar rates better in engineerings.. Lums n IBA for business and for computer sciences its.. fast lhr fast isb, bahria isb and NUST..

GIKI is now down the list cause of major loss in previously well acclaimed faculty and average student induction. basically now everyone can get in gik who has money

Dear Brother,

First of all I'm not doing A--levels for the reason you mentioned.Actually I have chosen MIT,Caltech,UC-Berkeley,Cornell,McGill,Stanford(Hope to get in one of those) and Cornell for My undergrad education.As U know admissions are very competitive to all these elite schools even the most qualified applicants are turned down for no reason.Although Luck plays an important part while AD-Coms are making ur admission decision cause they have to choose a very little number of applicants from a large pool of well qualified applicants but I think I should give my best short.A-Levels are considered equivalent to IB,French Baccalaureate or US AP's and are well known Internationally so they make u more competitive among other applicants as it is competition among applicants from all over the world not only from Pakistan .Moreover If u visit LUMS U'll find that nearly 85% of students have done A-Levels.A-Levels are 13 years of High School education while our FSc is of 12 years and U cant deny that A-Levels gives U more exposure to ur choosen subjests and prepares U well for College work.Please bare in Mind that I’m not defending A-Levels nor praising them these are the facts which I came to know when I contacted the AD-Coms of US schools.My sister went to Nishter Medical College last year.Although she had very good marks in FSc but she had to work really hard & hard for her entry test as FSc makes u addicted to RUTTA and do not clear the concepts.In the end they just check ur memory and not the knowledge u have gained after 12 years of ur high school education and I Don’t want to face these difficulties as I have to appear too for SAT-I & II subject tests and want to prepare for them well in advance.Hope this may clear U my position.I want to know U that I’m not preparing for MED- Schools here.I’m interested in Computer Science & Engineering and
Business ManagementThe schools I have choosen in Pakistan are LUMS & GIKI(may be not after hearing some horrible facts from ur end) but LUMS I’m quite sure about it cause it has the most qualified and outstanding faculty in the country as I visited LUMS for two times and met with some of them.They offer liberal arts education same as it is offered at US schools and I really like this mean exploring new options.Well I think u wont mind for this long lecture.(Just Joking).Take care.

I can't rate all of them but in my opinion Lums is the best. UET is better than GIK.
