I thought this was a general notice board, not a slanging match between racist Pakistanis versus the rest of the World. I was born in Pakistan. I guess that makes me Pakistani. I am now British Citizen but Pakistan is my ethnic religion. I am surprised you have not closed my post because the people are taking it personal and I hate to have to defend myself against morons. There are many intelligent people here of course but some people have an inferitority complex and try to blame it on others. The remarks against Sri Lanka and Jamaica are shameless. Pakistan is not white. It is ethnic. There are fairer shades and darker ones. I request you close the Muslim Miss Pakistan before it gets out of control if it hasn't already. It wasn't intended to convince anyone of anything. It just stated some facts of events that occurred, which some people are offended by. I am sure these Countries which I do not have anything to do with would be offended. Pakistan is my birthright, and a noble one too. My family have cousins Shah, Khan and prominment other muslim relatives. But I also have people related to my ancestory from India and Britain. If Miss Asia choose to put me in the category where I was born then I do not see how it is possible I could be Miss UK Miss Sri Lanka or Miss Jamaica. For goodness sake I can not believe the mentality of these "men" who are so openly hostile. The women some are nice some are snidey. I certainly would not think Gushupp truly representative of Pakistan, since most rude comments stem from USA and UK. They are confused.

i agree on this one .. people are just not flaming with careness any more .. cheapshots are everywhere .. after the mentioning of sri-lanka and other stuff, i am now requesting that please follow and either close+delete the thread or just .. well, they will know better what action is better, deletion with closing or just closing ..

Thank you for putting a lock on the MMP posts. I guess 1 vote does not win the election, but thanx anyways confused. I guess that's why my people left Pakistan in the first place, they were not welcome. Not too welcome in some parts of UK either but at least I receive less prejudice here. I will visit Pakistan again on holiday without mention of my title, less I get stoned (and I don't mean drunk)One day the people will realise you can't fit everyone into a category.

natural fact of life ma'am currently i am residing in canada and agree perfectly .. but i just ignore.. i know my skills in my field, so dont worry about the discrimination, comments, (stoning as u call it) about myself... i know how much i know in my field, good'nuf for me ..

Thanx. I will. But Dr. Aiden who states she works for Michigan State University is calling me a ***** and chooray (whatever that is, she seems familiar with that word) and her boyfriend is sending me death threats by private email to my profile. It's sad. Cos if she really is a Doctor then I pity anyone who is Sri Lankan, cos she insists I look like that! And anyone who is not fair, cos her boyfriend is obsessed by same saying that he does not see one spot of British in me. I wonder why the Doctor Aiden did not explain you can't tell by the colour of blood its red and the genes can produce all shades of blonde, dark hair, whatever for seven generations at least! I think I would rather be in the hands of God in that case. Thank goodness our Health Service here have overworked, but impartial proffessionals. Anyways take care yourself and everyone else. This isn't a title Im proud of now, no matter I have two others. Not cos of my dress or hair or colour but because of the mentality of some fanatics. I need to find an intelligent forum, where people are more humane and not in favour of early Euthanasia!!!
