    dual-nationalities

I'm sure a lot of you have 2 passports, ie one that's iether American, Canadian, British or South African (in my case) and another one that's Pakistani.
So which do you value more? If you had to get rid of one, which one would you throw away?

How many country can you go to with pakistan passort without taking a visa. (I don't know any yet where you don't have to get a visa first)

On the other hand if you have USA or UK passort you can travel many country without have to going the visa dept.which could be a very frustrating..

I suggest that you get rid of pakistan passport and keep the other one..You be glad that you did...

        take care

despite the pros of having a foreign passport and all the cons of having the oh so special green passport, I'm still not sure whether I'd like to give it up!

Naeem, unfortunately this cat needs both!

I kept my Pakistani passport until I was 18. Then I gave it up and applied for the Austrian passport.

The reason: Thanks to the dumb Austrian laws, you can't keep a second nationality with your Austrian passport.

I really wanted to keep my Pakistani passport, but over here, it's very difficult to find a job at all, if you're not at least European citizen.

I felt very unhappy about that, but I didn't want my career to be disturbed just because of my passport.

but how can you keep both passport.

I don;t think you can do that in USA. When I got my US passport I have give my green card back to them. So if you don't have green card how can you come back to the USA.

but the thing is I travel some what and it make it easy to go to place and not have to worry about the visa and stuff.. I find it very helpfull to have a USA passport.

I guess it all depends what your life stlye is..if you don't travel much then I think stick to the pakistan but if you do plan on travel places then I gues it will wise to have usa or canada.

                  bye

I have three passports. The best one to travel is UK. With UK passport u dont need visa nearly to 3/4 places on this earth.

I use Canadian Passport only when I am entering USA or Canada (used UK few times as well though) because it saves me from waiting in the long queues.

I have an expired Pakistani passport and I dont even know where it is .... and I had to have a tourist visa to go to Pakistan last time becaue I couldn't prove that I was/am Pakistani.

British & Canadian governments dont mind if u have more than one passport/nationality neither does Pakistani.

I hate queuing up at the US imigration desk. Even if you have a UK passport, they always seem to look down on you.

Sometimes I just want to say, "I am a child of the universe. My soul is the only passport I need".

I wonder how far that will get me?
