So I was talking to my one of my cousins in Pak the other day...during our conversation we figured that we have a common acquaintance...well his exact words were 'oye u know that az ole...' so I inquired why he addressed him in that manner...he replied that once he went to his place on a formal invitation and he was served "tea" which was below average by any standards. It was so bad that it made my cousin embarrassed instead of the host....
In a situation like this is it the host who doesn't have the manners or is it the guest who doesn't hold any repect in host's eyes or is it a wrong way of judgement to begin with.
Its just an example but I think its a big thing how you are served, especially in our desi community. Does it tell us about different personatities and what they think of us?
