Ramis, You should try getting hold of Professor Akbar Ahmed who is a teacher in Cambridge University. He is a nice guy. Also, you can ask Pakistan Embassy for help if they are any good.

hi there,,,,,if you are referring to the Pakistan production of "JINNAH" PLEASE take the thought out of ur mind!!!!!!!!!! the movie revolves around the quaid's personal (specifically romantic) life, instead of focusing on his political career......the movie is no match to 'Ghandi' (I am sorry to say).....Disregard all of the above if you were planning on showing the Toronto version (which by the way , I havent seen.)

toronto version --made in toronto,canada
pak version -- made in england/pakistan (i believe)...there is a difference...i havent seen the toronto version but the pak version has only 1 worthwhile scene of 30secs--the scene is dominated by talat hussain. good luck.

If you are talking about the Prof Akbar Ahmad film "Jinnah", it can be seen next month on Sky Box Office on Satellite - I am not sure if you access to that in Copenhagen.

Contrary to what some people have said above - I have seen the film and thought it was very good - Christopher Lee played a very realistic Jinnah - I think the Toronto and English versions are the same. This version has also been dubbed in Urdu and is doing well in the Cinema houses in Pakistan. I did here that there was a Pakistani version - different one but that was not too good at - it did not do any justice to the Quaid at all.
