      Sugar and spice: yes india's population/hiv positive cases is the fastest growing in the world right now, and its due to lack of basic education and awareness about "birth control" and "sexually transmitted diseases" and dont forget poverty.

          I totally agree with you. The country lacks the basic education for such things as birth control, std's etc. I mean I have read that in some parts of India, they are beginning to spread info about such things. I realize this is not enough or ever will be. A large number of people really don't care about such matters. I think the concentraion is being so-called put on food, shelter and clothing. But when these basic necessities of life are not being met, what makes them prone to use birth control or any contraceptive for that matter??
