    Quiet People...Speak up

Who are they and how do they deal with people's perceptions?
I'm told that I'm a cute woops quiet guy. The biggest complain I get is that I don't talk when I'm on the dinner table and dinner is supposed to be a social interaction affair http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/confused.gif How important is expression or small talk.

    ciao,

    You and quiet??? toba, toba...

But on a serious note, I like small talk. Specially on a dinner table. I hate to eat quietly, or at least having none other speaking.

One of my cousins is a quiet person. She is quite younger than her brother and sisters and when she was growing up as a kid, she was very quiet. Probably it was because of the absence of other childeren in the house. I sometimes used to wonder when few of the family members would get together that what she might be thinking on different things, talk, topic etc and what would stop her from participating?

        "cute woops quiet" boss?
        very very smooth.... http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/tongue.gif

hmm...as roman said: maybe being the youngest in the family is may be a significant factor to remain quiet. or, maybe not.
i've always been a brat & a loud-mouth around my family & really close friends. yet, i'm reserved at times around ppl in general cuz i had the habit of quietly 'observing' the older ppl in the family.

i dun't like small talk...i tend to avoid it.....but i think small talk is important if you want to socialise with ppl at a get-together/party/etc.

I do not like to talk on dinner table or while eating...i hate it when people speak while their mouths are full and they expect you to talk with them, i just put them on hold "let me finish than we ll talk about it"...just not my thing...

well when me and my bros' sit down to eat all together at the dining table ( not very often we're all together ) then we just laugh..make each other laugh, take the mickey out of each other and just generally laugh so much we can't eat....
It's really nice when that happens... http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smile.gif
